Why this page exists
talktowomen uses third-party AI services to deliver coaching. Apple App Store guideline 5.1.2(i), in force since November 2025, requires apps to name those services and obtain your explicit consent before sharing your personal data with them. This page is that disclosure. In the app, you also see a dedicated consent screen before any AI feature sends your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.
The AI providers and what each one receives
- Anthropic (Claude) generates your coach reads. It receives the text of your lesson responses and call transcripts. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, your data is not used to train its models.
- ElevenLabs powers voice. It receives call audio and text. Voice can count as biometric data under the GDPR, so we process it only with your explicit consent and do not allow it to be used for provider model training.
- OpenAI (Whisper), if used transcribes practice-call speech to text. Where used, it receives call audio for transcription only, with training disabled.
Consent, retention, and control
Consent to AI data sharing is explicit and separate from other app permissions. Core navigation does not depend on it; AI coaching features do. Call transcripts are retained for 30 days unless you save a call. We do not use your content to train any model, by us or by our providers. You can access, export, or delete your data, and withdraw AI consent, in Settings, or by writing to <CONTACT-EMAIL>.
