Agreement
These Terms of Use are a contract between you and <LEGAL-ENTITY-NAME> (we, us, our). They cover this website and the talktowomen app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the app. Where these Terms add to that EULA, both apply together; where they conflict on a point the EULA covers, the EULA governs for the app itself.
Who can use this (17+ adult)
The app is rated 17+ on the App Store and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It deals with adult social and dating situations. By using it you confirm you are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if higher. We may end accounts that we believe belong to minors.
What the service is (and is not)
talktowomen is communication-coaching practice. The personas are AI practice partners, not real people and not companions. The coaching is educational and for general improvement only.
Not therapy, not medical or professional advice. The service is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, medical, psychological, or legal advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are in distress or crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
AI and your voice
The coaching is delivered by AI. The practice partners are AI systems, and the feedback you receive is generated by AI; you are always told when you are interacting with one. To produce it, the app sends what you submit to named third-party AI providers (<AI-PROVIDERS-LIST>, listed in full in our Privacy notice and AI disclosure). Before any feature shares your data with them, we ask for your explicit consent on a dedicated screen, and you can withdraw it in Settings.
If you use voice practice, your voice recordings are processed to power the call and the coach read. Your voice may be biometric data under the UK and EU GDPR (Article 9), so we treat it as a special category, process it only with your explicit consent, and do not permit it to be used to train provider models. AI output can be wrong or imperfect; treat it as practice, and use your own judgment in real interactions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to harass, stalk, manipulate, coerce, or harm any real person;
- submit content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, hateful, or that depicts non-consensual acts;
- attempt to identify, deceive, or build a profile of a real person using the coaching output;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to compromise the service or its waitlist form;
- resell or redistribute access without our permission.
We may suspend or end access for breach of these rules. The app is a practice tool. Real-world conduct is your responsibility. The full standards, reporting routes, and consequences are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Your content and moderation
You keep ownership of the text and audio you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process it to deliver coaching and to operate the service (including sending it to the named AI providers in our Privacy Policy). We may review, filter, or remove content, and suspend accounts, to enforce these terms and to keep the service safe. You can report content or behaviour in-app or to <CONTACT-EMAIL>.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid tiers (Pro, Coach, Founder's Pass) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Prices and tier contents may change; we will give notice of material changes.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee any particular social or dating outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited as set out in the final reviewed terms (<LEGAL-ENTITY-NAME> and counsel to finalize).
Changes, law, and contact
